I hated waiting for this book to publish. I have to wait for the next one. However, I love these type books. K9 dogs and their people and search and rescue with good people and dogs have become my favorite reads, but there aren't enough out there as good as this one and a few others I've read. Good but not perfect characters or dog made this a great read. You'll love it if it's your kind of book, and maybe even it isn't. An absolutely fabulous book! Just enough red herrings to point in several different directions. There were a lot of hair raising, and heart pounding exciting,moments in this book to make me keep reading as I was on the edge of the my seat.A perfectly written thriller. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a superbly written thriller. Renegade is outstanding and described very authentically as as true mallinois who exemplifies the breed.
